Caseworker
Full‑time (37 hours) with options for part‑time and flexible working patterns. Based in Rochdale, United Kingdom.
Annual salary: £28,506 (Full‑time). Permanent role.

About the role
The successful candidate will provide support to service users in a range of projects. You will work sympathetically with service users who have complex needs, such as homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health or physical health problems, and offending behaviour. Your aim is to empower users, help them engage with the community, build resilience, live independently and become a positive asset to the community.
Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate, person‑centred support to service users with complex needs.
* Assess individual needs and plan effective and engaging support interventions.
* Communicate clearly and professionally – both written and verbally.
* Manage risk, ensuring all procedures are followed and risks are managed.
* Support users in volunteering and community activities, including group work.
* Work flexible hours, including weekends on a rota basis, and travel occasionally; a vehicle is desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrable experience as a support worker with homeless or complex needs (mental health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, etc.).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to assess and plan user needs.
* Experience managing risk and following procedures.
* Flexibility to work weekends and travel as required.
