Hours Part‑Time, 19.5 hours per week / Teaching Pattern Tuesday and Thursday teaching, and Wednesday half‑day admin

About the role
Join us to teach students how to create visual stories for fashion media, turning products into must‑have trend pieces as a Lecturer on our Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling course at the Fashion Retail Academy.
We’re looking for someone with a multi‑disciplinary background, strong industry lessons, and who can support students to achieve their best outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a confident and engaging communicator with excellent presentation skills and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others.
About you
* Relevant degree or professional experience.
* Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one upon appointment is ideal but not essential.
* Extensive industry experience in your subject area; previous professionals looking to transition into education and share their expertise are welcome.
* Outstanding current knowledge of all Visual Communication & Styling areas and the fashion industry and landscape.
* Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced academic environment.
* Commitment to supporting all learners to achieve their potential and contributing positively to an inclusive, student‑centred learning community.

Salary
Part‑Time FTE 0.525 – £17,010 to £18,900 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience.
