Overview

This role goes beyond a typical store job. As a retail supervisor, you’ll serve customers, support the Store Manager, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. The environment can be hot in summer and cold in winter, but taking pride in what you and the team do will be noticed by customers.
Responsibilities
* Supporting: Stand in for the Store Manager when needed, motivate and engage the team, and coach the team to grow sales and achieve targets.
* Mucking in: Check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch, and put orders together.
* Delivering great service: Provide a great customer experience with a smile, even when busy, and coach the team to do the same.
* Asking questions and building relationships: Ensure customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
* Building a fun working environment: Maintain product availability and high branch standards, making the branch a place people enjoy coming to work.
* Hard work and passion: You don’t need retail experience; focus on delivering great service and we’ll teach you the rest.
* A love of teamwork: Be happy to muck in and get your hands dirty.
* A positive attitude: Ensure customers have a great experience in the branch.
* Reliability: Be available when needed, flexible and enjoyable to work with.
* Be yourself: Bring your whole self to work and let your personality shine.
