Warehouse Planning Manager – L’Oréal

Step into a pivotal role as a leader driving operational excellence within the largest Distribution Centre (DC) in the L’Oréal network. You will lead the team of warehouse planning administrators, ensuring seamless workload management while collaborating closely with the Trafford Planning Manager and cross-divisional CSC Teams to maintain, control, and mitigate business risks through accurate warehouse labour planning. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll regularly identify opportunities to enhance capacity and strengthen our operational agility.
Responsibilities
* A key member of the warehouse leadership team able to demonstrate a strong commitment to Safety, People and Operational Excellence for both you and your direct reports.
* Demonstrate strong change‑management ability while being process‑oriented, holding people accountable daily.
* Lead in developing the capacity plan for the Distribution Centre, working with the division to understand customer expectations and liaising with the DC for capability requirements.
* Work with the agency provider to share staffing levels required and labour plan for the DC on a daily basis.
* Manage your team of planners and trainers to maintain a smooth workflow into the DC, working closely with Operations Managers.
* Be the key contact supporting Divisional Order to Cash and Customer Supply Chain day‑to‑day communication and queries while maintaining the agreed workload in the DC.
* Develop tools to add value and measure the efficiency of workload presentation into the DC, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency & CTS.
* Demonstrate the ability to lead a small number of direct reports responsible for date management, waving, customer bookings, preparing transport proformas, stock call‑back, and short‑lead‑time requests.
* Undertake all capacity planning for the DC, with a strong focus on NEO stock build.
