Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic) – Snowdon House, Bangor

The post holder will undertake telephone triage assessments of patients in an efficient way.

They will advise the most appropriate intervention to meet the needs of the patient using best clinical practice, adhering to Trust Policy, protocols and guidelines.

Will work in an autonomous capacity, assessing and advising callers within agreed guidelines.


Job responsibilities

We are looking for Triage and Assessment Paramicks to join us in meeting the challenges of urgent and emergency care across Wales. This is a dynamic role in which you'll draw upon your clinical assessment skills to help and advise a broad spectrum of patients, from minor ailments and injuries to complex and urgent conditions as well as to hone your skills in a remote clinical decision‑making environment.

As a Band 6 Triage and Assessment Paramedic, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions but be supported by our experienced team of senior clinicians, practice coaches, and multi‑disciplinary colleagues.

Person Specification


Qualifications and/or Knowledge & Experience

* NMC Registered Nurse (adult or Child), or HCPC Registered Paramedic with post‑registration experience in front‑line services.
* Evidence of undertaking regular update training and continuous personal/professional development as required by the regulating body.


Other

* Flexible approach to work – expect to work a rotating shift system, including nights and weekends.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Salary: £40,559 to £48,841 a year, pro rata.
