Are you an experienced Facilities Management leader with a strong background in PFI contract delivery?
We are seeking a commercially minded Contract Manager to manage the full delivery of Hard and Soft FM services, lead operational teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing facilities management across the estate.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major multi-site education contract, leading FM service delivery while driving commercial performance and outstanding client relationships.
The Role
You will oversee all FM operations including M&E maintenance, building fabric, grounds, cleaning, catering, caretaking, helpdesk services, subcontractor management, and the planning and delivery of lifecycle and variation works.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading, mentoring, and developing operational teams
2. Managing subcontractors to meet performance, safety, and quality standards
3. Delivering lifecycle programmes and project works on time and within budget
4. Owning contract P&L, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
5. Ensuring full contractual, statutory, and Health & Safety compliance
6. Building strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
About You:
7. Extensive experience delivering Hard and Soft FM services
8. Proven success managing PFI contracts or complex estates
9. 10+ years’ senior FM leadership experience
10. Strong leadership and project management skills
11. Sound Health & Safety knowledge.
12. Excellent IT, reporting, and analytical abilities
13. Working knowledge of SFG20 & AP/RP frameworks
14. NEBOSH or IWFM qualifications & Fire safety, Legionella, or CDM experience.
