Hours: 8.00am - 1.00pm
Contract: 40 weeks per year

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare and early childhood education to make a positive impact on children's lives while developing their management and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
* Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times
* Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages children's independence and confidence
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily activities
* Support the organisation of nursery routines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Lead small groups of children in educational activities, promoting inclusive participation
* Assist with the organisation of nursery resources and maintain a clean, organised environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred
* Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs

Pay: £16,929.00-£17,600.00 per year
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
