The Opportunity
On this 10–12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding add value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development. Our aim is to welcome as many students as possible back into our other programmes, be that another internship or potential graduate position. This placement is the stepping-stone to your future. Water Utilities
Our team vision is to restore and regenerate our rivers and catchments; we are a collective of passionate multi-disciplinary water/civil engineers, catchment hydraulic modellers (rivers and urban drainage systems) and environmental modellers/scientists. We work together to deliver a range of river health projects across the water cycle, including nature-based solutions and major infrastructure upgrades.
Is this role right for you?
We are looking for people who have an enthusiasm for a career in Water, underpinned by a knowledge and understanding of our sector. We are seeking candidates working towards a Bachelors Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or Geography OR; Masters or post-graduate Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a similar Water related discipline, or a course accredited by ICE, CIWEM or equivalent.
