Futures are working with a growing manufacturing business looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving day-to-day production performance while ensuring delivery, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will take full ownership of production planning and execution. You will be responsible for the effective allocation of work across the production team, ensuring that schedules are met and operational KPIs are achieved. This role will suit a hands-on leader with a strong assembly-focused manufacturing background, who is comfortable balancing people management with operational delivery. Key Responsibilities Plan and allocate work across the production team to meet daily and weekly production schedules Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery targets are consistently achieved Monitor and drive key production KPIs including output, efficiency, quality, and downtime Lead, motivate, and manage production staff, ensuring clear priorities and accountability Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow and productivity Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure smooth production flow Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping across the production area Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within manufacturing Strong background in assembly-based manufacturing environments Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules, KPIs, and OTIF performance Confident people manager with the ability to lead teams through change Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment Click apply now for more information.
