Lecturer in Art and Design
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in Art and Design to join the Berkshire College of Agriculture team, starting in August 2026 on a permanent part‑time basis (0.8 FTE).
Role Summary
This role offers a salary on the Academic Teachers Pay Scale between T01 £25,306.40 and T11 £36,272.80 (T01 £31,633 to T11 £45,341 FTE) per year. The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver UAL Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes.
* Manage the academic cycle, including induction, lesson planning, and ongoing assessment and feedback.
* Use a diagnostic approach and vocational expertise to guide students through the creative process.
* Support students to develop skills across 2D, 3D and digital media while ensuring English and Maths are integrated into the curriculum.
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement processes.
* Maintain professional links with parents and employers to support student progression.
Qualifications
* Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work toward one.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant Art and Design subject.
* Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
* Recent experience of teaching Art and Design.
* Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and maintaining a positive learning environment.
