Job Summary To assist and support fee earners with secretarial and administrative duties. Please note, we are seeking legal secretaries with conveyancing experience. Roles and responsibilities * Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters, legal forms (Oyez) and quotes * Deal with clients over the phone as well as lenders and solicitors etc * Undertake administrative duties such as photocopying and updating client details. * Filing correspondence and ensuring files are kept up to date. Arranging appointments and dealing with clients * Access and input data on to the firm’s client case management system * Work as part of a team with other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover when required * Handle all confidential information discreetly. Draft contracts * Dictations Requirements * Proven experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or related qualification/experience * Willingness to work on files from start to finish including completions and exchanges, lender exchange and deal with clients on a regular basis. * Good knowledge of both sales and completions * Land registry portal knowledge including submitting os1 and os2’s * Can do attitude * Excellent technical skills which include a fast and accurate typing speed * The ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
