Senior Specialist Physiotherapist – Neurooncology

We seek an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Neuro‑Oncology Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will manage patients with neurological conditions, lead clinical assessment and rehabilitation in acute and community settings, and drive service development and research.
Main duties
* Provide clinical assessment and support for neuro‑oncology patients in acute and community settings.
* Lead multidisciplinary team in delivering physiotherapy services for neuro‑oncology patients.
* Develop and implement clinical improvements and research initiatives to advance neuro‑oncology rehabilitation within the Trust and regionally.
* Mentor students, therapy assistants and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
* University Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
* HCPC registration.
* Post‑graduate course at Masters level (completed or willing to pursue).
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience managing patients with neurological and oncology conditions.
* Knowledge of national guidelines and NHS policies.
* Extensive specialist knowledge in neuro‑oncology physiotherapy.
* Evidence of MDT working, audit, research or service development.
* Experience supervising students or therapy assistants.
* Clinical experience at Band 6 level managing neurological patients.

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and active listening skills.
* Initiative and self‑directed work.
