Salary:£24.47 per hour (including shift premium) + Technician Grade Bonus
Hours:Tuesday to Friday, 6:00pm 6:00am
Contract:Permanent
Overview
Were looking for an experiencedHGV Technicianto join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Widnes. This is a night shift role, working Tuesday through Friday, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs to keep vehicles safe, roadworthy, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
* Routine servicing, inspections, and general maintenance of HGVs
* Fault diagnosis and repair to DVSA standards
* MOT preparation and presentation
* Completion of all required paperwork and job cards
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
* Supporting workshop colleagues and maintaining high standards
What Youll Need
* Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI) or equivalent
* Proven experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable)
* Flexibility and commitment to working night shifts
