Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for operational planning and business support in a dynamic healthcare environment? If yes, we are inviting applications for a Band 5 Business Support Officer role within the Remote Clinical Care portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational delivery of services across the Remote Clinical Leadership Team, supporting transformation and improvement across the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of key workstreams, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes for patients and staff.
Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate, you will:
* Provide comprehensive business and project support across the Remote Clinical Care portfolio, including the development of operational plans and reports.
* Represent the team at meetings and contribute to the delivery of directorate objectives.
* Support the management of workstreams, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Analyse and interpret complex information to inform decision-making and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
* Coordinate the production of reports, including Board and Executive papers, and support the delivery of communications and stakeholder engagement plans.
* Contribute to business continuity planning, governance compliance, and the development of operational responses to national and local priorities.

* Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent experience in a relevant area.

* Experience of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis
* Basic knowledge of project principles
* Previous experience in similar position within the health sector
* Experience of working on change projects.

* Demonstrate communication skills in complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
* Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional, organisational team.
