The Role As a Senior Technical Solution Consultant at Basware, you’ll engage with the world’s largest SAP customers to shape how Basware’s AP Automation and e-Invoicing solutions fit into their enterprise architecture. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, Enterprise Architects, and IT leaders, guiding them toward clean-core, future-ready SAP landscapes that leverage Basware’s interoperability, automation, and security. This is a strategic presales role where technical authority, architectural vision, and ecosystem influence drive customer confidence and sales success. In this role, you report to the Head of Solution Consulting / Solution Value Consulting. What You’ll Do Lead architectural and integration discussions with enterprise IT and SAP teams—covering connectivity, data flows, and security between Basware and SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, PI/PO, BTP) Design and present reference architectures that demonstrate how Basware enhances SAP without compromising Clean Core principles Advise customers on Clean Core and composable ERP strategies, helping them reduce technical debt and accelerate SAP modernization Own the technical narrative in RFPs, solution proposals, and executive-level presentations Build and nurture relationships across the SAP ecosystem —including SAP product teams, SAP App Store/BTP contacts, and global system integrators (GSIs) such as Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, and TCS—to extend Basware’s influence and co-sell opportunities. The successful candidate should bring a credible book of existing SAP and GSI contacts as a base to begin with Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Value Consulting, and Product to align architecture strategy with customer value and ROI outcomes Develop proofs-of-concept and demos that highlight Basware’s API-driven integration, automation, and compliance strengths Stay ahead of SAP and integration trends (S/4HANA migration, BTP, APIs, security frameworks) and share insights internally and externally
