They have built a trusted brand and now distribute across the UK and international markets. The business has a strong UK footprint, alongside direct-to-consumer channels and retail partnerships, with a growing international distribution arm.
The Opportunity:
As Managing Director, you will lead the company through its next phase of growth and transformation, overseeing all operations, commercial strategy, and future readiness initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chairman, this is a pivotal leadership role as the business gears up for significant strategic milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver commercial growth strategies across UK and international markets
* Strengthen Direct-to-Consumer and digital channels, alongside established retail partnerships
* Drive operational excellence across supply chain, warehousing, and distribution functions
* Champion a people-first, high-performance culture, building strong relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers
* Prepare the business for long-term sustainability and future strategic options
About You:
* Proven Managing Director or Commercial Director with experience in consumer products, FMCG, lifestyle brands, or eCommerce-driven businesses
* Strong understanding of multichannel sales models (B2B and DtC)
* Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and execution focus
* Empathetic leader, capable of inspiring teams through change while maintaining a supportive, collaborative culture
* Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable in a family-owned environment undergoing transition
