Position Overview
A permanent opportunity has arisen for the post of Mechanical Decontamination Person, based at Ninewells with regular travel and work at other sites within Tayside.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, repair and maintain Mechanical/Decontamination equipment across all NHS Tayside properties to ensure equipment performs safely.
* Operate Mechanical/Decontamination systems to provide Mechanical/Disinfection/Sterilisation services that meet the needs of the service.
* Participate in an on‑call rota and travel between NHS sites as required.
* Achieve mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications
* Recognised apprenticeship, City & Guilds, SVQ/NVQ with relevant and demonstrable experience.
* Fully trained and certificated Mechanical Decontamination Person.
