Role: Community Lead
Location: Remote | UK (GMT/CET preferred)
Contract Length: 6 - 12 months (possibility of extension/make perm)

Our client is looking for an experienced Community Lead with strong credibility in the architecture industry to join their Marketing/Community team. In this role, you will build and grow an online and offline community, lead a small distributed team and help shape the strategy that drives awareness and engagement across multiple markets.
This role blends leadership, community strategy, content engagement and direct relationship-building within the architecture space.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor Community Managers and Program Managers.
* Develop and execute a clear, data-informed community strategy.
* Support and scale a creator/advocate program.
* Engage across platforms such as LinkedIn, Reddit, Archinect and similar forums.
* Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences.
* Share community insights with internal teams to support product and marketing decisions.
* Stay updated on trends in architecture, community building, and emerging technologies.
Experience
* Architecture background with 5+ years in the architecture community.
* Strong, credible network within the industry.
* 3+ years promoting yourself, your work or your organisation.
* Experience building or managing online communities and community strategy.
* Team leadership experience.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills; confident presenting.
* Proficient with architecture software, Microsoft Office and Slack (or similar).
* Willingness to travel and flexibility for occasional evening calls.
* Comfortable trying new tools and technologies.
* (Nice to Have) - Basic video editing; experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
