To be a proactive practitioner who supports and delivers confidently the EYFS. To provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. To offer full and practical support in the day‑to‑day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
* Support and deliver the EYFS.
* Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for babies and young children.
* Offer full and practical support in the day‑to‑day running of the nursery.
* Be flexible to the needs of the business, including working between 7 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum Early Years qualification: Level 2 diploma (or equivalent/higher).
* GCSE Maths and English grades C and above (essential).
* Additional childcare certificates (Level 3 childcare diploma, foundation degree, full degree, QT, EYP, etc.) are desirable.
* Experience in a nursery setting – 2 years preferred.
* Safeguarding/Child protection training and level, and reference contacts.
Employment Details
* Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Permanent.
* Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible days and hours).
* Pay: Up to £12.75 per hour.
