Kendale Hall Limited are recruiting for a supervisor for day shift. These are 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
If you’re a caring person with a can-do attitude, already have experience supporting older people, including those with dementia, have confidence to lead a care team and act as advocate for the safety and dignity of residents and a good understanding of care planning, this could be the job for you.
Qualifications and requirements
Ideally you will hold an SVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work toward this. Registration with SSSC is required on commencement of employment. This post is subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check.

Responsibilities
You will be a key member of the care team, and residents will be at the heart of everything you do. You will ensure residents receive high-quality care in a safe, dignified way. You will lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team to deliver the very best standards of care. You will liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents get the medical care they need. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you will use your initiative and talent to contribute to the success of the home. You will be a keyworker for residents and ensure all paperwork is current and correct.
