Vacancy details: We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and proactive Inclusion Manager to join Stour Valley Community School and play a key role in supporting students with additional needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. This is a non-teaching role but includes elements similar to specialist SEMH provision. You will work directly with high-need pupils, design bespoke interventions, and take a lead role in coordinating inclusive support across the school. Key responsibilities include: Providing one to one and small-group SEMH intervention, including crisis support. Working safely and confidently with students who display challenging behaviour. Designing personalised support plans and bespoke provision for vulnerable learners. Supporting statutory SEND processes and maintaining accurate documentation. Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure strong, joined-up support. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with young people in a secondary environment. Understands SEMH needs and how to support challenging behaviour. Can work both collaboratively and independently, including lone working when needed. Is highly organised with strong communication skills. Is resilient, calm under pressure, and committed to inclusive education.
