OverviewAs an esteemed leader in the world of bespoke garden and landscape design, we are seeking a soft landscaping Site Foreman to help coordinate the activities of the soft landscaping crew.
This role involves ensuring the highest standards of horticultural practice are being followed.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the landscaping team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
* Train and mentor team members on landscaping techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
* Coordinating landscaping projects, including planting, and tree, shrub and flower maintenance.
* Monitoring plant health and addressing issues such as pests and diseases promptly.
* Ensuring all gardening and machinery are used safely and maintained properly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
* Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of plant species, landscape design principles, and maintenance techniques.
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
* Strong communication skills at all levels.
* A valid driver's licence is essential.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
