Role: Bid Manager Location: Newry Hours: Monday Thursday 8.30am 5pm Friday 8.30am 3pm Salary: TBC / DOE Role Requirements Analyse tender documents to fully understand client requirements and project scope. Plan and coordinate bid preparation activities to ensure all deadlines and submission milestones are met. Liaise with senior managers and internal stakeholders to agree on bid strategy, pricing, and technical details. Prepare and update case studies, reference materials, and supporting documentation for bid submissions. Edit and adapt previous tenders to align with new client specifications and reuse relevant, high-quality content. Collate input from multiple departments, ensuring a consistent tone, style, and professional standard across all documents. Prepare and write detailed commercial documents, including Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and full tender submissions. Coordinate bid response timelines, gathering inputs and approvals from all stakeholders involved. Format, proofread, and finalise bid documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Track submission deadlines and ensure all documentation meets buyer and framework requirements. Host and document bid team meetings, capturing key actions, responsibilities, and follow-ups. Maintain strong internal relationships and an understanding of key contacts for information gathering. Monitor and evaluate bid success rates, conversion metrics, and identify areas for process improvement. Maintain an organised archive and bid library, continually updating it with relevant content, templates, and case studies for future use. Key Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Thorough understanding of tender and bid processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document formatting tools Excellent organisational and administrative abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively Confident working collaboratively with cross-functional teams Ability to use initiative and problem-solve under pressure Strong command of English grammar and business writing style Desirable criteria Bid manger/writer experience in the Fit-out industry Skills: Analyse tender documents Plan coordinate bid preparation activities Coordinate bid response timelines
