Requirements:
* At least 5 years of professional bakery experience
* Minimum 3 years hands-on donut-making experience (artisan or large-batch)
* Expert knowledge across the full donut-making process: mixing, proofing, frying, glazing, finishing
* Strong understanding of dough behaviour, frying methods, and bakery science
* Proven ability to deliver consistent results in a commercial production environment
* High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
* Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working early mornings independently
* Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg
Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Donut Baker, you will:
* Lead daily donut production, including yeast-raised, cake, filled, and specialty varieties
* Mix, proof, fry, glaze, finish, and decorate products to precise standards
* Contribute to recipe development and refinement to maintain premium quality
* Support preparation of additional bakery items when required
* Manage production schedules to ensure efficiency and product freshness
* Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
* Train and support junior team members
