Scope of the Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll take the lead on end-to-end product development, solving complex technical challenges through precise design execution.
* Develop robust, manufacturable mechanical designs for consumer products using SolidWorks.
* Own CAD modelling, assemblies, and surface modelling to production-ready standards.
* Collaborate closely with electronics, industrial design, and manufacturing teams.
* Apply DFM and injection moulding expertise to ensure smooth tooling release.
* Support prototype testing, iteration, and validation with high attention to detail.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in consumer products.
* Hands-on experience with SolidWorks design (assemblies, surfacing, detailing).
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely aligned discipline.
* Advanced knowledge of injection moulding and design for manufacture principles.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with hybrid flexibility.
