Senior Employee Relations Case Advisor About the Role Our client, a respected NHS Trust in South London, is seeking two experienced Senior Employee Relations Case Advisors to join their HR team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, fast-paced healthcare organisation that values professionalism, compassion, and staff wellbeing. As a Senior ER Case Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload and supporting managers and staff through complex employee relations matters. You'll play a key role in ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant HR practices across the Trust. Contract: 3 Months | Full-Time Start Date: Immediate Rate: £19.71 per hour Working Pattern: 4 days on-site Key Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance, and harassment cases. Support and coach managers through formal hearings and investigations. Collaborate with Occupational Health, EAP providers, and legal teams to ensure staff wellbeing and compliance. Contribute to policy development, training delivery, and continuous improvement of ER practices. Maintain accurate case records and produce reports for senior management.Candidate Requirements NHS experience is essential. Proven ability to manage a high-volume ER caseload in a large, unionised organisation. Must be available to work 4 days per week on-site at Croydon University Hospital. Strong knowledge of employment law, ACAS codes, and HR best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Desirable Skills CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with ESR and ER Tracker systems. Experience with NHS Agenda for Change job evaluation processes.Interested?
