Friendly, Problem-Solving IT Support for Creative Architecture Studio (Part-Time) £35K p.a. (pro rata)
Are you the kind of IT professional who loves solving problems and helping people? A design studio is looking for a friendly, approachable IT Support specialist to join part-time and make a real difference in keeping our creative team running smoothly.
Working closely with our IT Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day IT needs, from Mac troubleshooting to setting up new equipment. If you enjoy being hands-on, thinking on your feet, and supporting colleagues in a personable and practical way, this could be your ideal role.
What you’ll do:
* Provide face-to-face and remote IT support to staff, solving issues efficiently
* Diagnose and fix problems on MacOS devices
* Maintain hardware, manage updates, and keep accurate inventory records
* Troubleshoot basic network and Office 365 issues (including Exchange and Teams)
* Assist with IT administration, stock management, and consumables
* Set up equipment for new starters, meetings, and presentations
* Administer our Jamf environment
* Keep software and hardware records up to date
* Explain technical issues clearly and simply to non-technical colleagues
* Support management with ad hoc IT-related tasks
What we’re looking for:
* Proven IT support experience, ideally in a creative or design-focused environment
* Strong knowledge of MacOS and Office 365
* Familiarity with Jamf, SME cloud storage (e.g., Dropbox), VOIP systems, or NAS is a plus
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
* Strong organisation and communication skills, able to prioritise effectively
* A personable, positive attitude with the ability to make IT approachable
* Interest in design or creative industries is a bonus

Details:
* Part-time, 3 days per week (must include Wednesday; other days flexible)
