Haven Pathways CIC is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people through early-intervention wellbeing and life skills programmes.
Our work focuses on helping children aged 11–15 build confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing and positive future aspirations during key stages of development, particularly the transition from primary to secondary school.
Through creative activities, group discussions, practical life skills sessions and community-based support, we aim to provide safe, supportive and empowering environments where young people can develop communication skills, emotional awareness and self-belief.
As the organisation grows, we are seeking a Fundraising Lead to help guide and support fundraising activity and long-term sustainability.
Role Description
As Fundraising Lead, you will work alongside Haven Pathways CIC to help shape and support the organisation’s fundraising strategy and future growth.
Your experience within fundraising, community partnerships or the charity sector will help support the organisation in securing funding, developing partnerships and building sustainable growth to expand support for young people across Wrexham and surrounding communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing early-intervention community project and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development of fundraising strategy and future growth plans
* Identify grant, sponsorship and partnership opportunities
* Support donor, community and corporate engagement initiatives
* Assist with fundraising campaigns and community support initiatives
* Help develop relationships with funders, local businesses and community organisations
* Provide guidance on fundraising compliance and best practice
* Support the long-term sustainability and growth of Haven Pathways CIC
This role is a voluntary unpaid role.
Qualifications
* Experience in fundraising, grant funding or community partnerships
* Understanding of fundraising approaches within the charity/non-profit sector
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Passion for supporting children and young people
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience supporting community or early-intervention projects
* Existing networks with funders, businesses or community organisations
* Experience with community fundraising or sponsorship initiatives
