Co-Founder/Community Manager | Recruitment Professional

We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-growing SaaS business looking to expand its Solutions Consulting team due to strong client demand. This is a Principal-level opportunity to shape pre-sales engagements for a leading financial software suite used across both the public and private sectors, from local councils to NHS trusts and commercial clients.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with the sales team to scope, shape, and demonstrate the value of our client’s enterprise financial products. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll bridge commercial and technical conversations, helping clients understand how financial workflows can be transformed through smart SaaS adoption.

Expect plenty of variety, with clients across every region of England (and parts of Scotland), this is a UK-wide role with roughly 50% travel. While the business is based in the West Midlands, you can be located anywhere in England, so long as you're happy to be on-site when required.

We're not just looking for a polished Solutions Consultant – we’re looking for someone with credible financial knowledge. That might mean:

* General knowledge of accounts payable (purchase ledger), general ledger, or approval workflows and financial systems would be really helpful, as the SaaS solution is sold directly into finance teams.
* A strong understanding of or a prior career in book keeping or accounting before moving into software/solutions roles
* The ability to confidently engage with finance teams and understand their language, pain points, and processes

You might be a Senior Consultant at a company like Sage, or a post-sales specialist ready to step into a more strategic, pre-sales role. Implementation consultants and product specialists are also welcome, so long as you can speak finance with fluency.

* Background in financial/accounting software or ERP
* Strong grasp of finance principles: AP, GL, approvals
* SaaS/Cloud software experience (ideally B2B or public sector)
* Pre-sales, post-sales, or technical solutions experience welcome
* Excellent communication and commercial acumen
* Finance or accountancy understanding/experience
* Experience in enterprise finance or public sector SaaS
* Exposure to clients in NHS, councils, or complex matrix organisations

You’ll report into the Solutions Team Manager, joining a collaborative and growing team of two Principal Consultants and one Senior. There's scope to shape the role and work across a diverse portfolio, with opportunities to develop further as the business expands.

* Stage 1: 30-minute conversation with the hiring manager
* Stage 2: 90-minute session with presentation
* Base Salary: Up to £80,000
