Job Title: Groundworks Manager (Temporary)

Pay Rate: £260–£280 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Manager to oversee the groundworks and drainage package on a legacy new-build housing project in Delamere. This is a temporary position offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, coordinate, and oversee all groundworks and drainage activities on site
*
Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to required specifications
*
Supervise subcontractors and site teams to maintain productivity and quality standards
*
Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
*
Liaise with the site management team, engineers, and project stakeholders
*
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements:

Proven experience managing groundworks and drainage on residential construction projects
*
Strong leadership and communication skills
*
Ability to problem-solve and manage a fast-moving site environment
*
Valid CSCS card
*
SMSTS qualification
*
First Aid certificate
