About the role
Raytheon UK are hiring a Production Associate. You will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Livingston site. Day shift is 37 hours – 07:30 – 17:18 Mon - Wed, 07:30 – 07:06 Thu. We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role; your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Skills and Experience
Essential
* Previous experience in a similar environment / role
* Good manual dexterity
* Basic PC skills
* Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
Desirable
* Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
* Good communication skills
* Organisational skills
Responsibilities
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas. Tasks may include:
* Soldering and inspection to ANSI‑J STD/IPC610
* Mechanical and wiring assembly
* Kit preparation
* Bonding and coating
* Testing of assemblies and sub‑assemblies using specialised equipment
