Overview
Our client is an established asbestos company with a good reputation within the industry. Due to recent expansion, they are looking to take on a switched on and commercially focused Asbestos Bid Coordinator / Manager based in and around the London / M25 region. The client will look at a wide range of experience but are ideally looking for someone who has experience over‑seeing a team of bid writers, working on PQQ’s, ITT’s and Tender returns. Applications will be considered from Romford, Hertford, Slough, Dartford, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Experience
* Good educational background.
* Significant experience in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
* Good knowledge of the commercial and other sectors.
* Excellent communication, people management, organisational, presentation and leadership skills.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Package.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the Bids team carry out work effectively.
* Involved with the PPQ and tender opportunities – evaluating and completing within time scale.
* Manage the Bid qualification process effectively.
* Manage bid inputs from stakeholders – sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, legal etc.
* Work alongside Sales and Managing Directors ensuring technical and commercial aspects of tenders are completed on timeline.
* Prepare written proposals – including management summary.
* Deliver compliant and commercially sound bids – understanding and resolving various business issues.
* Arrange post‑bid reviews and feedback with clients/customers.
* Deliver continual improvement of tender documentation.
* Maintain and build good relationship with Marketing Manager and the company’s prestigious portfolio of clients.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all information is consistent and up to date.
