We’re excited to be recruiting a Digital Marketing Officer on a fixed term basis to help drive forward the Society’s digital presence and support our growing Marketing & Communications team.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll take the lead on the day‑to‑day administration and development of the Society’s digital channels. Your work will include:
* Enhancing engagement and visibility across our social media platforms
* Managing and updating website content, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and a great user experience
* Supporting and delivering digital advertising activity
* Creating online marketing assets, including social media graphics and campaign materials
* Collaborating with colleagues, branches, and teams across the Society to ensure campaigns are delivered consistently and effectively
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
* At least 2 years’ on‑the‑job experience in a digital marketing role (in‑house or agency‑side)
* Experience using analytical software and insights tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite (or similar platforms)
* Proven experience of managing and maintaining websites, ensuring content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and user‑friendly
* Hands‑on experience managing social media platforms and email marketing campaigns
* Experience in a marketing role, preferably product or B2C marketing
* Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and data‑driven campaign optimisation
* Previous experience in email marketing, social media, content creation, and platforms such as Campaign Master
* Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
* Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
* Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
* Basic knowledge of website design, usability, and accessibility
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A creative, self‑motivated, and proactive mindset
* Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies
