Description
The key responsibilities of this Finance Assistant role will be:
Post and reconcile incoming customer payments on a daily basis
Match payments to invoices according to remittance advice
Handle customer invoicing and release credit notes as required
Maintain up-to-date AR reconciliations and ensure account accuracy
Send customer statements and payment reminders
Follow up on overdue balances and manage collections activity
Produce regular reports on overdue accounts and payment performance
Collaborate with internal departments and external customers across Central Europe
Support month-end closing and reporting processes
Profile
The successful Finance Assistant should have:
Previous experience in accountancy and finance, ideally within accounts receivable
A strong understanding of banking processes and financial regulations.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
