About the Role: Are you a dynamic sales professional ready to lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional growth in the agricultural feed sector? We are seeking an ambitious Sales Manager to lead our client's field sales operations, working closely with senior leadership to drive strategic market expansion and maximise new business opportunities. The ideal candidate would coach, inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to deliver sustainable growth across both existing and new markets. Leveraging your broad technical knowledge of livestock nutrition, you will support the sales team across Northern Ireland, providing expert guidance to help customers optimise their production systems and performance. Responsibilities:



* To deliver and implement strategic plans and objectives that drive business growth, market share expansion, and new business development opportunities.
* To lead, motivate, and support a field sales team by setting clear targets, providing mentoring, training, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
* To build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships through effective account management, collaboration, and proactive identification of new sales opportunities.
* Oversee sales operations by managing performance, monitoring market trends, aligning sales with marketing, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
* To ensure effective financial and operational management by driving performance, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
* To represent the business externally at industry events and meetings while contributing to overall business strategy, fostering partnerships, and promoting products and services.


Qualifications:



* Proven experience in a management role within the agricultural sector.
* A broad technical knowledge of livestock, nutrition, and production systems.


Required Skills:



* Excellent communication with proven experience in successfully leading and developing a team.
* A relationship builder who can confidently build long-lasting business relationships.
* A team player who can work independently or collaboratively to achieve positive results.
* Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong financial awareness, able to monitor sales performance, and report on key business metrics.
* Highly professional with a strong commercial mindset.
* Driven, ambitious, and results-focused.
* Proficient in IT skills, including CRM platforms and sales performance management tools.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
