We’re on the lookout for a forward-thinking Civil Engineer to join our talented team in Motherwell, working on critical power and energy projects, including substations, grid connections, and renewables – as well as diverse, multi-sector schemes across defence, transport, and industry.
&##Designing and specifying civil engineering solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects – from drainage and utilities to external works and earthworks.
Producing accurate and detailed designs, drawings, and reports in line with project and regulatory standards.
Collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams to deliver fully integrated, buildable designs.
Reviewing calculations and third-party designs to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in one or more sectors – power project exposure is a strong plus.
Solid knowledge of drainage, earthworks, and external works design.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD (or similar) – especially for draughting and layout design.
Familiarity with Eurocodes, British Standards, CDM regulations, and BIM workflows.
Must meet eligibility criteria for security clearance.
