Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced People Advisor to join our People Team within the Central Division. The role provides professional and commercially focused support across the full employee lifecycle, offering timely, practical advice to managers and employees on people policies, processes and employment matters to ensure consistency, fairness and compliance with UK employment law.
As a People Advisor, you will play a vital part in enabling effective decision‑making, strengthening people capability, and fostering a positive, well‑supported, high‑performing workforce across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
* Manage ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence and capability matters.
* Coach, challenge and influence managers to make sound, legally compliant decisions.
* Produce outcome letters, investigation reports and case documentation to a high standard.
* Identify ER trends and propose preventative actions and training requirements.
* Support TUPE transfers (inbound and outbound), including accurate employee data management, consultation and implementation.
* In conjunction with the Senior People Advisor, provide advice and guidance on TUPE legislation, measures, changes to terms and employee communications.
* Support restructures, redundancies and organisational change, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
* Collaborate with Senior People Advisors and People Business Partners.
* Provide clear, consistent guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures.
* Coach managers to build employee capability.
* Support wellbeing, inclusion and engagement initiatives across the organisation.
* Contribute to creating a positive, ethical and high‑performance culture.
* Work collaboratively with other teams within the People function (Talent and Development, People Operations and Payroll) and wider organisation.
Key requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience in an HR/People Advisor role, managing high-volume and complex ER cases with minimal escalation.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, with proven ability to coach and influence managers.
* End‑to‑end TUPE experience, including data preparation, consultation and implementation.
* Confident managing restructures, redundancy consultations and organisational change, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
* Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills, supported by strong analytical ability to interpret HR data and identify trends.
* High professional integrity and discretion.
* Desirable attributes: CIPD Level 5 (or studying), multi‑site experience, fast‑paced environments or exposure to FM/housing sectors.
