Equifind has partnered with one of Europe’s fastest-growing private debt investors to recruit a Finance Manager. This newly created role is based in their London office near Liverpool Street and will require full-time office attendance.
With several billion dollars in assets under management, and a new £1bn fund about to launch focused on senior debt within UK real estate, it’s an exciting time to join as the business gears up for a busy period of transactions.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager will take ownership of all corporate reporting.
Key duties include
* Take ownership of the monthly close process for all group entities.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports including balance sheet maintenance.
* Preparation of annual budgets for the group and individual entities.
* Key point of contact for annual key elements of external financial audits across the group.
* Contributing to the improvement and development of financial controls, processes, and reporting.
* Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely management information.
* Assisting with the migration of data from legacy accounting systems to the group’s accounting software.
Key requirements
* ACA/CA qualified accountant, preferably trained in audit.
* A minimum of 5 years experience, ideally working within a group function.
* Prior experience of working with FCA or SEC regulated businesses.
* Advanced-level Excel skills.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements.
* Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills.

* £70-85,000 base salary.
