🚛 The Role – Class 1 Steel Delivery Driver
As an HGV Class 1 Flatbed Driver, your duties will include:
1. Operating a Class 1 (C+E) Flatbed HGV
2. Delivering steel lengths and bulk steel products
3. Safely securing loads using straps and load restraint equipment
4. Managing overhanging loads in line with transport regulations
5. Completing deliveries professionally and efficiently
6. Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
7. Working Monday to Friday day shifts – no regular nights out
This role is ideal for drivers with experience in:
8. Steel deliveries
9. Flatbed transport
10. Strapping and load security
11. Industrial or construction deliveries
✅ Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
12. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
13. Valid Driver CPC Qualification
14. Digital Tachograph Card
15. Previous flatbed or steel delivery experience preferred
16. Confidence with load strapping and securing
17. Strong understanding of driver safety and compliance
18. Reliable and professional attitude
