We are looking for a Digital inclusion Coachwill play a key role in delivering a Welsh Government-funded pilot project to assess and support digital inclusion amongHafod customers in line with the Minimum Digital Living Standard (MDLS).

You will work directly with Hafod customers, so you’ll be out in the community meeting families and building relationships. You will meet with customers to understand their digital needs and you will provide practical digital support and guidance on things like device setup and connectivity.
In addition, you will be working with families to develop their digital skills and confidence, this will mean running informal and formal digital skills training sessions in 1-2-1 or group sessions. The digital inclusion coach will also be expected to create resources to support the pilot, for example creating training materials, user and video guides.
Furthermore, a key part of this role will be to monitor and evaluate the work that’s being undertaken, you’ll carry out surveys, create case studies and support focus groups.
The role is offered on a full-time (36 hours per week) six-month contract (potential to extend to 31st March 2026). There is theoption to work a nine-day fortnight – have a day off every other week! You will be working out in the community and from our regional hubs but will also have the option to work from home.
A driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable, as the role involves regular travel within South Wales.
What you'll do
1. Supporting at least 20 families through the MDLS pilot.
2. Delivering one-to-one and group digital skills sessions.
3. Helping customers navigate devices, internet connectivity, and online services.
4. Creating helpful resources like training materials, guides, and videos.
5. Capturing outcomes, logging activities and supporting project reporting.
6. Collaborating with teams and engaging in regular communication with project leads.

Where you’llbe
Funding for this project allows us to recruit for 2 colleagues to join the team for delivering this pilot.
You will be expected to deliver this pilot project across the whole region of Hafod services. Each role will be responsible for one service area.

8. Cardiff (including Newport and Torfaen) and the Vale

10. Strong digital literacy across devices and online platforms.
11. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
12. Confidence delivering group sessions and one-to-one coaching.
13. Flexibility to travel across South Wales and visit customers at home or in our regional hubs.
14. Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own workload.
15. Understanding of data protection, safeguarding, and confidentiality.
