KS3 SEN Teacher - Full-Time - Dunstable

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:00pm, early finish on Fridays
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Dunstable to appoint a Key Stage 3 SEN Teacher on a full-time basis. This small but growing specialist setting caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and communication and interaction needs. The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a creative and adapted curriculum to a small class of Key Stage 3 pupils, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants. The successful teacher will:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Create a calm and supportive classroom environment that enables all pupils to thrive
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support pupil progress and well-being
Maintain regular communication with families and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching pupils with ASD, MLD, or similar SEN
Strong understanding of inclusive practice and differentiated teaching
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
