Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work within a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and support their academic progress across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons, maintaining high expectations within the classroom, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
* Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where required
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passion for education and student achievement
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
