Role: Assistant Psychologist - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum Location: Remote with Travel Your Role Assessing and supporting adults with a forensic history, delivering a holistic and psychological informed approach aligned to the Consensus Forensic I-Path. Providing support and training to colleagues within forensic services. Assisting in the delivery of psychological care, assessing and supporting individuals with a forensic history as part of the Consensus Forensic Team. Providing training to colleagues. Conducting risk and needs assessments under the supervision of a qualified forensic psychologist using standardised tools. Contributing to the referral process for individuals with a forensic history, including participation in Enablement Panels. Collaborating with the forensic psychologist in formulating psychological assessment and planning support and risk management strategies. Working with the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT), providing insights into psychological aspects of care, diagnosis, formulation and treatment planning. About You To be successful in this role, you will: Have an undergraduate psychology degree with Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the British Psychological Society. Experience of working in a psychologically informed role, ideally supporting individuals with complex needs, offending behaviour, or significant mental health difficulties.
