We are seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting boys with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Our school, established for the past 3 years, offers a great temp-to-perm model and is known for prioritising staff well-being with comprehensive training and strong duty of care. You will play a key role in helping students overcome negative educational experiences, supporting them through their SEN challenges, and making a lasting difference in their learning journey. If you have previous experience in similar school environments or a background that has helped you develop a tough, positive attitude, we want to hear from you! You’ll be working with students who need your support and resilience, playing a vital role in their academic and personal development. What We’re Looking For: Experience working 1:1 or in groups with children/young people in an SEMH setting Bonus points for training or experience in safeguarding, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach A genuine passion for supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs Resilience, a calm yet tough attitude when faced with challenges or difficult environments Flexibility, proactivity, and endless patience Full-time commitment – we’re looking for someone in it for the long haul!
