The Role
As a Sales Development Representative / Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the heart of creating new business opportunities for a portfolio of clients. Your focus will be to understand each client’s ideal customer, generate high‑quality leads and build strong relationships that turn into real opportunities.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Carry out market research to identify target sectors, companies and key decision makers
* Prospect via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels to generate qualified leads
* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline for multiple clients
* Book and qualify meetings with potential customers for your clients
* Nurture relationships with prospects over time and keep them warm
* Work closely with internal teams to align messaging, targeting and strategy
* Track activity and results using CRM and sales tools, reporting on performance and insights
* Provide feedback to clients on what’s working in the market and where opportunities are
About You
You don’t need decades of experience; mindset, drive and curiosity matter just as much.
* Have proven experience in Business Development, Lead Generation or Sales
* Are confident speaking with decision makers over the phone, on video and in person
* Enjoy researching markets and spotting opportunities
* Are organised and comfortable managing a busy pipeline across multiple clients
* Can develop and follow effective business development strategies
* Have strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Are comfortable using CRM systems and sales tracking tools
* Can work independently and enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team
* Experience in a sales or marketing agency environment is a bonus
