Note: This position is available to internal applicants only The Payroll and Systems team within People and Culture are looking for a HR Systems Support Officer to join their team on a temporary Full Time basis until 27 March 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Council’s suite of HR systems, including Fusion5 EmpowerHR for Payroll Services and PageUp Talent Management Platform. You will have experience in the management of position and employee data and payroll records and data capture and analysis, with a high level of attention to detail. You will also be required to produce reports and dashboards as required, and solve system issues and errors, escalating where required. Essential Criteria: A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, business or relevant field Demonstrated experience in providing application/systems administration support Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with all organisational levels and with external vendors Desirable Criteria: A good understanding of the role and use of HRIS in Local Government and relevant technology trends Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and operate specific HR systems in the organisation Commencing Salary: $83,341 - $96,471 per annum, plus 12% superannuation Please select the link/s below to view the position description and to submit your application online.
