Hours: Fixed Term, Part Time – 18.5 hours per week

Role Overview
Provide high quality support for young people with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) as a member of the Learning Support department.
Responsibilities
* Implement, monitor and review outcomes for students with an EHCP.
* Work proactively with students, parents/carers, internal and external stakeholders to deliver inclusive and challenging support.
* Help students achieve the outcomes detailed in their EHCP to thrive in their career or independent living aspirations.
Qualifications
* Highly organised and dedicated team member.
* Previous experience supporting young people or adults with specific learning differences and/or disabilities.
* Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
* Enhanced DBS check (including barred list information) required.
* Mandatory safeguarding training; part of induction and ongoing CPD.
