Security Clearance
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance may be required. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

Location & Working Hours
This job role can be based in London, Cheltenham or Ipswich. You will work onsite, five days a week, Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm. DV Security Clearance is required and you must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
What you’ll be doing
* Providing the architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform.
* Engaging closely with operational teams to understand their use cases and requirements for monitoring toolsets.
* Collaborating with technical architects and security leads to ensure compliance with design standards and security requirements.
* Documenting processes and procedures required for deployment, maintenance and operational use of monitoring technologies.
* Championing the use of automation and orchestration capabilities to promote efficiency and improve working processes.

What we’d like to see on your CV
Mandatory
* Familiarity with using Linux operating systems.
* Experience with one or more of the following areas:
o Administering or deploying monitoring and observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus or Zabbix.
o Administering or deploying SIEM tools such as Elastic Security, Splunk or Trellix ESM.
o Working with dashboarding and visualisation tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
Preferred
* Ansible automation experience.
* Knowledge of monitoring networking equipment using SNMP.
* Understanding of data pipeline tools like NiFi.
* Experience working in operational environments.
