THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Specialist to join a rapidly growing organisation within the surgical medical device sector. This full-time permanent role will see you supporting healthcare professionals across NHS and private hospital settings, delivering hands-on clinical training, education and in-theatre case support across an innovative surgical portfolio.
Working closely with surgeons, scrub nurses and wider theatre teams, you will play an important role in supporting the implementation and adoption of advanced surgical technologies, including stapling and energy devices. Covering colorectal, gynaecology and general surgery, you will help build clinical confidence and ensure smooth product usage during procedures.
This is a field-based role covering the Southeast and surrounding areas, with ongoing evaluations currently taking place in Oxford and London. You will work closely with the wider commercial team to strengthen relationships across key accounts, support product trials, and contribute to long-term customer success. Due to growing demand, there may also be occasional travel to support activity in other regions.
LOCATION:
Territory covering the Southeast and surrounding areas. Candidates located within reasonable travelling distance of Oxford, London or the wider Southeast region would be well suited to the position.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in a clinical specialist, clinical training or theatre-based role within a surgical environment
* Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) with strong communication skills and commercial awareness are encouraged to apply
* Strong understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures
* Previous exposure to surgical stapling or energy devices would be advantageous
* Confident supporting surgeons, theatre staff and clinical teams in operating theatre environments
* Organised, adaptable and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a busy field-based schedule
* Full UK driving licence required

THE PACKAGE:
* £35,000-£45,000 basic salary depending on experience
* £12,000 on-target earnings
* £600 monthly car allowance
