Engagement Lead – St Lauras Care Home, Kings Langley 🌹


Permanent | £13.33 per hour | 30 hours per week

Join St Lauras Care Home in Kings Langley as an Engagement Lead, where you’ll play a vital role in creating personalised lifestyle programmes and meaningful engagement opportunities that enhance wellbeing for every resident. Working as part of our care and wellbeing team, you’ll bring creativity, empathy, and energy to daily life in the home.


We’re offering a permanent position, working 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of £13.33 per hour.

As an Engagement Lead, you’ll coordinate and deliver activity and engagement programmes that are inclusive, stimulating, and person-centred. You’ll work closely with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure that every individual’s needs, preferences, and aspirations are understood and reflected in the home’s social life.


Main Responsibilities 🌹

• Identifying residents’ needs and interests through life histories, Care Plans, and personal conversations

• Planning and coordinating weekly activity programmes, ensuring variety and inclusion across all days, including evenings and weekends

• Incorporating all aspects of the B&M Care Engagement and Activities Framework into daily planning

• Creating and implementing one-to-one engagement plans for residents who may feel isolated

• Supporting the creation of posters, schedules, and communication materials using IT equipment

• Working flexibly to meet residents’ and the home’s needs across all aspects of engagement and wellbeing



What You’ll Bring 🌹

• A full UK driving licence – Essential

• Creativity, empathy, and strong communication skills

• The ability to plan and adapt programmes that encourage social connection and purpose

• Confidence using IT to design posters, timetables, and visual displays

• Experience in activities coordination, engagement, or care (preferred but not essential)
